Fest Wrap Up
The FEST has been good to us as always, but this year was particularly special because we had the opportunity to see some of our favorite bands in a more intimate setting - at our good friend Dave Melosh’s home recording studio, Medusa Productions. Twenty bands graciously took time out of their busy (and drunken) FEST schedules to spend an hour or so with us, recording the acoustic track of their choice in the studio, live! We’ve heard several unreleased tracks, obscure covers, older songs re-recorded, and even had the opportunity to join in (I played toy piano on a track by the Sainte Catherines, look out for me!).
We want to give a warmhearted THANK YOU to all of the bands that participated, and we’re looking forward tremendously to the final release of your acoustic tracks. We had such a fun time over the course of the weekend - goofing around, getting serious, drinking some brewskies, running around town, late night bourbon runs, early morning whiskey - you name it!!
