WIRETREE

Just happened to stumble upon the indie/power-pop/rock quartet Wiretree while rummaging through recent sign-ups on Grooveshark Artists. How this little gem escaped our radar prior to this is beyond me - especially considering its sound brings to mind the likes of Wilco, Pinback, Elliott Smith, Simon & Garfunkel and Bon Iver - all favorites. Their most recent album, Luck, was released in ‘09 and has been resonating with bloggers ever since then - it was even considered one of the most overlooked indie releases of 2009 by Indie Rock Cafe
